FAQ

We print 100g Laminated Coated Paper on 62g White Glassine — will that hold on cans, glass jars and condiment bottles, and does the liner change the answer?
100g Laminated Coated Paper is specified for the canned food & condiments field, which does not mean every substrate in it. PET film holds its dimensions and stiffness at higher temperatures than PP or PE. Where the surface is recycled or carries mould release, treat the first roll as a trial.
Is there a storage limit on D25101 (100g Laminated Coated Paper, Hot Melt) once it sits on a 62g White Glassine liner, and how do we verify it on the line?
No application-temperature figure is released for this construction, and we will not invent one. Adhesive wet-out decides the low end, and that depends on your line speed and the temperature of the bottle. The declared test condition is 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH, and a trial roll shows where your own line sits.
What are the initial tack and 90° peel figures for D25101 (100g Laminated Coated Paper, Hot Melt), and does the liner change the figure?
No tack or peel figure is released for this construction, so we will not quote one. We report tack to FINAT FTM 9 by the ball method and 90° peel to FTM 2, at 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH.
What is the minimum order quantity and lead time for D25101 (100g Laminated Coated Paper, Hot Melt), and can a trial roll count towards it?
Minimum order quantity is 500 ㎡ and lead time is 15 days after artwork and roll-format approval. A trial roll for press approval can be arranged before the production run starts. Shipment is ex-works Guangzhou, and it can be consolidated with other codes on the same order.
We used D57631 before. What changes if we switch to D25101 (100g Laminated Coated Paper), and which one should we trial first?
D25101 runs Hot Melt adhesive on 62g White Glassine Liner, while D57631 runs Low-temperature on 62g White Glassine Liner. The difference is the adhesive chemistry, which decides edge lift and high-speed behaviour more than the face does. Compare the two technical tables above, then test both on the same substrate.
