Can we apply FL1801 (60μm Pearl Metallised Film, Low-odor / Residue-free) to cans, glass jars and condiment bottles straight off the roll, and does the liner change the answer?

60μm Pearl Metallised Film is specified for the canned food & condiments field, which does not mean every substrate in it. BOPP film resists moisture and flexes with a squeezable wall instead of cracking. Where the surface is recycled or carries mould release, treat the first roll as a trial.

At what temperature do we apply FL1801 (60μm Pearl Metallised Film, Low-odor / Residue-free), and what can it take afterwards, and does the liner shift it?

No application-temperature figure is released for this construction, and we will not invent one. Adhesive wet-out decides the low end, and that depends on your line speed and the temperature of the bottle. The declared test condition is 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH, and a trial roll shows where your own line sits.

No tack or peel figure is released for this construction, so we will not quote one. We report tack to FINAT FTM 9 by the ball method and 90° peel to FTM 2, at 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH.

FL1801 runs Low-odor / Residue-free adhesive on 62g White Glassine Liner, while F41771 runs Standard on 62g White Glassine Liner.
