Does S24040 (70g Top-coated Thermal Paper) with Hot Melt adhesive bond to corrugated cartons and waybill stock without a primer, and what would you send as a sample?

70g Top-coated Thermal Paper is specified for the express & logistics waybills field, which does not mean every substrate in it. Direct thermal prints without a ribbon, but heat, sunlight and plasticiser contact keep developing the coating. Where the surface is recycled or carries mould release, treat the first roll as a trial.

S24040 (70g Top-coated Thermal Paper, Hot Melt) in a 60 °C plant: what application window should we plan for, and how do we verify it on the line?

S24040 runs Hot Melt adhesive on 40g White Glassine Liner, while SR0041 runs Low-tack Removable on 62g White Glassine Liner. The difference is the adhesive chemistry, which decides edge lift and high-speed behaviour more than the face does. Compare the two technical tables above, then test both on the same substrate.
