Will this 75g Top-coated Thermal Paper hold on general cartons and rigid containers, and where does it stop working, and how do we check that before a full run?

75g Top-coated Thermal Paper is specified for the general standard field, which does not mean every substrate in it. Direct thermal prints without a ribbon, but heat, sunlight and plasticiser contact keep developing the coating. Where the surface is recycled or carries mould release, treat the first roll as a trial.

At what temperature do we apply S29400 (75g Top-coated Thermal Paper, Hot Melt), and what can it take afterwards, and is there a written figure for it?

No application-temperature figure is released for this construction, and we will not invent one. Adhesive wet-out decides the low end, and that depends on your line speed and the temperature of the bottle. The declared test condition is 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH, and a trial roll shows where your own line sits.
