We used a generic 72g Standard Thermal Paper before and it lifted — is S43161 any different on corrugated cartons and waybill stock, and what would you send as a sample?

72g Standard Thermal Paper is specified for the express & logistics waybills field, which does not mean every substrate in it. Direct thermal prints without a ribbon, but heat, sunlight and plasticiser contact keep developing the coating. Where the surface is recycled or carries mould release, treat the first roll as a trial.

Can S43161 (72g Standard Thermal Paper, Hot Melt) be applied at 60 °C on the line, and how do we verify it on the line?

No application-temperature figure is released for this construction, and we will not invent one. Adhesive wet-out decides the low end, and that depends on your line speed and the temperature of the bottle. The declared test condition is 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH, and a trial roll shows where your own line sits.
