Can we apply S43700 (72g Standard Thermal Paper, Medium-tack) to corrugated cartons and waybill stock straight off the roll, and does the liner change the answer?

72g Standard Thermal Paper is specified for the express & logistics waybills field, which does not mean every substrate in it. Direct thermal prints without a ribbon, but heat, sunlight and plasticiser contact keep developing the coating. Where the surface is recycled or carries mould release, treat the first roll as a trial.

If our line runs at 60 °C, does S43700 (72g Standard Thermal Paper, Medium-tack) need a slower speed to wet out, and does the liner shift it?

No application-temperature figure is released for this construction, and we will not invent one. Adhesive wet-out decides the low end, and that depends on your line speed and the temperature of the bottle.
