FAQ

Does S91311 (75μm Thermal Film) with Hot Melt adhesive bond to paper cups and hot-fill containers without a primer, and which document states that?
75μm Thermal Film is specified for the hot cups & high-temperature field, which does not mean every substrate in it. Thermal film puts the heat-sensitive coating on a film base, so it also resists water. Not recommended for PVC surfaces; small diameters, irregular or squeezable bottles.
Does the 50g White Glassine liner on S91311 (75μm Thermal Film, Hot Melt) change how it behaves when applied cold, and is there a written figure for it?
No application-temperature figure is released for this construction, and we will not invent one. Adhesive wet-out decides the low end, and that depends on your line speed and the temperature of the bottle. The declared test condition is 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH, and a trial roll shows where your own line sits.
Do the peel figures for S91311 (75μm Thermal Film, Hot Melt) change with the 50g White Glassine liner, and what substrate was it measured on?
No tack or peel figure is released for this construction, so we will not quote one. We report tack to FINAT FTM 9 by the ball method and 90° peel to FTM 2, at 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH.
What quantity does S91311 (75μm Thermal Film, Hot Melt) start at on a 50g White Glassine liner, and does a trial roll count, and can a trial roll count towards it?
Minimum order quantity is 500 ㎡ and lead time is 15 days after artwork and roll-format approval. A trial roll for press approval can be arranged before the production run starts. Shipment is ex-works Guangzhou, and it can be consolidated with other codes on the same order.
We used S9RG31 before. What changes if we switch to S91311 (75μm Thermal Film), and which one should we trial first?
S91311 runs Hot Melt adhesive on 50g White Glassine Liner, while S9RG31 runs Removable on 62g White Glassine Liner. The difference is the adhesive chemistry, which decides edge lift and high-speed behaviour more than the face does. Compare the two technical tables above, then test both on the same substrate.
