We used a generic 75μm Thermal Film before and it lifted — is S9AG31 any different on frozen cartons and chilled packs, and how do we check that before a full run?

75μm Thermal Film is specified for the cold chain & fresh food field, which does not mean every substrate in it. Thermal film puts the heat-sensitive coating on a film base, so it also resists water. Where the surface is recycled or carries mould release, treat the first roll as a trial.

How cold can the line run before the All-weather Low-temperature adhesive on S9AG31 (75μm Thermal Film) stops grabbing, and what happens at the low end?

No application-temperature figure is released for this construction, and we will not invent one. Adhesive wet-out decides the low end, and that depends on your line speed and the temperature of the bottle. The declared test condition is 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH, and a trial roll shows where your own line sits.

Can you give tack and peel for S9AG31 (75μm Thermal Film, All-weather Low-temperature) in N rather than a vague high-tack claim, and does the liner change the figure?

No tack or peel figure is released for this construction, so we will not quote one. We report tack to FINAT FTM 9 by the ball method and 90° peel to FTM 2, at 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH.

How much S9AG31 (75μm Thermal Film, All-weather Low-temperature) on a 62g White Glassine liner do we have to order, and how long does it take, and what starts the clock?

Minimum order quantity is 500 ㎡ and lead time is 15 days after artwork and roll-format approval. A trial roll for press approval can be arranged before the production run starts. Shipment is ex-works Guangzhou, and it can be consolidated with other codes on the same order.

We used S9RG31 before. What changes if we switch to S9AG31 (75μm Thermal Film), and can we get both as samples?

S9AG31 runs All-weather Low-temperature adhesive on 62g White Glassine Liner, while S9RG31 runs Removable on 62g White Glassine Liner. The difference is the adhesive chemistry, which decides edge lift and high-speed behaviour more than the face does. Compare the two technical tables above, then test both on the same substrate.
