FAQ

Can we apply A7HP40 (80g Coated Paper, Medium-tack) to general cartons and rigid containers straight off the roll, and how do we check that before a full run?
80g Coated Paper is specified for the general standard field, which does not mean every substrate in it. Coated paper takes fine print and varnish well, and it takes up moisture at the cut edge. Where the surface is recycled or carries mould release, treat the first roll as a trial.
At what temperature do we apply A7HP40 (80g Coated Paper, Medium-tack), and what can it take afterwards, and what happens at the low end?
No application-temperature figure is released for this construction, and we will not invent one. Adhesive wet-out decides the low end, and that depends on your line speed and the temperature of the bottle. The declared test condition is 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH, and a trial roll shows where your own line sits.
What do the 80g Coated Paper and Medium-tack combination report for tack and peel, and does the liner change the figure?
No tack or peel figure is released for this construction, so we will not quote one. We report tack to FINAT FTM 9 by the ball method and 90° peel to FTM 2, at 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH.
What quantity does A7HP40 (80g Coated Paper, Medium-tack) start at on a 85g White PEK liner, and does a trial roll count, and is export packing included?
Minimum order quantity is 500 ㎡ and lead time is 15 days after artwork and roll-format approval. A trial roll for press approval can be arranged before the production run starts. Shipment is ex-works Guangzhou, and it can be consolidated with other codes on the same order.
Is AR0011 a drop-in alternative to A7HP40 (80g Coated Paper), and which one should we trial first?
A7HP40 runs Medium-tack adhesive on 85g White PEK Liner, while AR0011 runs Removable on 62g White Glassine Liner. The difference is the adhesive chemistry, which decides edge lift and high-speed behaviour more than the face does. Compare the two technical tables above, then test both on the same substrate.
