FAQ

Would 80g Coated Paper on a 58g Yellow Glassine liner be the right call for general cartons and rigid containers, and how do we check that before a full run?
80g Coated Paper is specified for the general standard field, which does not mean every substrate in it. Coated paper takes fine print and varnish well, and it takes up moisture at the cut edge. Where the surface is recycled or carries mould release, treat the first roll as a trial.
Can ACMG51 (80g Coated Paper, Hot Melt) be applied at 60 °C on the line, and what happens at the low end?
No application-temperature figure is released for this construction, and we will not invent one. Adhesive wet-out decides the low end, and that depends on your line speed and the temperature of the bottle. The declared test condition is 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH, and a trial roll shows where your own line sits.
How much tack does ACMG51 (80g Coated Paper) have with Hot Melt adhesive, measured to which standard, and which document states it?
No tack or peel figure is released for this construction, so we will not quote one. We report tack to FINAT FTM 9 by the ball method and 90° peel to FTM 2, at 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH.
How much ACMG51 (80g Coated Paper, Hot Melt) on a 58g Yellow Glassine liner do we have to order, and how long does it take, and can a trial roll count towards it?
Minimum order quantity is 500 ㎡ and lead time is 15 days after artwork and roll-format approval. A trial roll for press approval can be arranged before the production run starts. Shipment is ex-works Guangzhou, and it can be consolidated with other codes on the same order.
Both look like the same face stock, so why pick ACMG51 (80g Coated Paper) over AR0011, and is one a drop-in for the other?
ACMG51 runs Hot Melt adhesive on 58g Yellow Glassine Liner, while AR0011 runs Removable on 62g White Glassine Liner. The difference is the adhesive chemistry, which decides edge lift and high-speed behaviour more than the face does. Compare the two technical tables above, then test both on the same substrate.
