FAQ

Where does F41300 (50μm Clear BOPP Film, Hot Melt) fail first on paper, card and file folders, and how do we check that before a full run?
50μm Clear BOPP Film is specified for the office & stationery field, which does not mean every substrate in it. BOPP film resists moisture and flexes with a squeezable wall instead of cracking. Where the surface is recycled or carries mould release, treat the first roll as a trial.
Does the 60g White Glassine liner on F41300 (50μm Clear BOPP Film, Hot Melt) change how it behaves when applied cold, and what happens at the low end?
No application-temperature figure is released for this construction, and we will not invent one. Adhesive wet-out decides the low end, and that depends on your line speed and the temperature of the bottle. The declared test condition is 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH, and a trial roll shows where your own line sits.
Do the peel figures for F41300 (50μm Clear BOPP Film, Hot Melt) change with the 60g White Glassine liner, and does the liner change the figure?
No tack or peel figure is released for this construction, so we will not quote one. We report tack to FINAT FTM 9 by the ball method and 90° peel to FTM 2, at 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH.
Do we have to take a full production lot of F41300 (50μm Clear BOPP Film), or can Hot Melt codes be pooled, and what starts the clock?
Minimum order quantity is 500 ㎡ and lead time is 15 days after artwork and roll-format approval. A trial roll for press approval can be arranged before the production run starts. Shipment is ex-works Guangzhou, and it can be consolidated with other codes on the same order.
Both look like the same face stock, so why pick F41300 (50μm Clear BOPP Film) over F41771, and is one a drop-in for the other?
F41300 runs Hot Melt adhesive on 60g White Glassine Liner, while F41771 runs Standard on 62g White Glassine Liner. The difference is the adhesive chemistry, which decides edge lift and high-speed behaviour more than the face does. Compare the two technical tables above, then test both on the same substrate.
