Can we apply SR0041 (70g Top-coated Thermal Paper, Low-tack Removable) to infusion bags and device housings straight off the roll, and how do we check that before a full run?

70g Top-coated Thermal Paper is specified for the infusion & medical field, which does not mean every substrate in it. Direct thermal prints without a ribbon, but heat, sunlight and plasticiser contact keep developing the coating. Not recommended for curved substrates (strong reaction with removable adhesive); above 70 °C, PMMA/PVC/PET/PP surfaces.

Is there a storage limit on SR0041 (70g Top-coated Thermal Paper, Low-tack Removable) once it sits on a 62g White Glassine liner, and does the liner shift it?

The minimum application temperature is 10 °C and the service range after labelling is -20–70 °C. Below the minimum the adhesive cannot wet out, and edges lift within hours on a curved wall. Both figures are measured at 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH, so confirm them with a trial roll on your line.

For SR0041 (70g Top-coated Thermal Paper), what tack and peel should we expect from Low-tack Removable adhesive at 23 °C, and which document states it?

Initial tack is 1–5 N by the ball method and 90° peel is 0.8–2.5 N/25 mm after 20 min. Both are measured to FINAT FTM 9 and FTM 2 at 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH. Peel grows with dwell, so compare the same hold time against your own pull test.

What is the smallest order you will accept for SR0041 (70g Top-coated Thermal Paper, Low-tack Removable) on 62g White Glassine, and does a slit roll change it?

We used S21693 before. What changes if we switch to SR0041 (70g Top-coated Thermal Paper), and does the price differ much?

SR0041 runs Low-tack Removable adhesive on 62g White Glassine Liner, while S21693 runs Hot Melt on 58g Yellow Glassine Liner. The difference is the adhesive chemistry, which decides edge lift and high-speed behaviour more than the face does. Compare the two technical tables above, then test both on the same substrate.
