FAQ

Would 90g Inkjet Woodfree Paper on a 80g White CCK liner be the right call for laser and inkjet printed sheets, and does it still hold on our own substrate?

90g Inkjet Woodfree Paper is specified for the digital inkjet & laser field, which does not mean every substrate in it. Uncoated woodfree takes pen and stamp, and it is the least water-resistant face in the range. Not recommended for PVC surfaces; small diameters, irregular or squeezable bottles.

Does W6MK11 (90g Inkjet Woodfree Paper) survive 60 °C in service, given the Hot Melt adhesive, and does that hold at our line temperature?

The minimum application temperature is 10 °C and the service range after labelling is -15–65 °C. Below the minimum the adhesive cannot wet out, and edges lift within hours on a curved wall. Both figures are measured at 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH, so confirm them with a trial roll on your line.

Where does the W6MK11 (90g Inkjet Woodfree Paper, Hot Melt) data sheet state its peel condition on a 80g White CCK liner, and what substrate was it measured on?

Initial tack is ≥14 N by the ball method and 90° peel is ≥7 N/25 mm after 20 min. Both are measured to FINAT FTM 9 and FTM 2 at 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH. Peel grows with dwell, so compare the same hold time against your own pull test.

Is W6MK11 (90g Inkjet Woodfree Paper) kept in stock, or is it produced to order with Hot Melt adhesive, and does a slit roll change it?

Minimum order quantity is 500 ㎡ and lead time is 15 days after artwork and roll-format approval. A trial roll for press approval can be arranged before the production run starts. Shipment is ex-works Guangzhou, and it can be consolidated with other codes on the same order.

We used W4MG31 before. What changes if we switch to W6MK11 (90g Inkjet Woodfree Paper), and which holds better at the edge?

The adhesive is the same and the liner differs: W6MK11 uses 80g White CCK Liner, while W4MG31 uses 62g White Glassine Liner. Changing the liner shifts release force and die-cutting behaviour, and the price moves with it. Compare the two technical tables above, then test both on the same substrate.
