FAQ

Where does A7MG41 (80g Coated Paper, Hot Melt) fail first on general cartons and rigid containers, and does it still hold on our own substrate?
80g Coated Paper is specified for the general standard field, which does not mean every substrate in it. Coated paper takes fine print and varnish well, and it takes up moisture at the cut edge. Where the surface is recycled or carries mould release, treat the first roll as a trial.
We fill at 60 °C — will A7MG41 (80g Coated Paper, Hot Melt) still wet out, and does the liner shift it?
No application-temperature figure is released for this construction, and we will not invent one. Adhesive wet-out decides the low end, and that depends on your line speed and the temperature of the bottle. The declared test condition is 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH, and a trial roll shows where your own line sits.
What do the 80g Coated Paper and Hot Melt combination report for tack and peel, and what substrate was it measured on?
No tack or peel figure is released for this construction, so we will not quote one. We report tack to FINAT FTM 9 by the ball method and 90° peel to FTM 2, at 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH.
Do we have to take a full production lot of A7MG41 (80g Coated Paper), or can Hot Melt codes be pooled, and does a slit roll change it?
Minimum order quantity is 500 ㎡ and lead time is 15 days after artwork and roll-format approval. A trial roll for press approval can be arranged before the production run starts. Shipment is ex-works Guangzhou, and it can be consolidated with other codes on the same order.
Is AR0011 a drop-in alternative to A7MG41 (80g Coated Paper), and does the price differ much?
A7MG41 runs Hot Melt adhesive on Blue Glassine Liner, while AR0011 runs Removable on 62g White Glassine Liner. The difference is the adhesive chemistry, which decides edge lift and high-speed behaviour more than the face does. Compare the two technical tables above, then test both on the same substrate.
