FAQ

AP2301 (120g Coated Paper): does the Hot Melt adhesive on 62g White Glassine give enough grab at the oil drums and edible-oil barrels edge, and what would you send as a sample?
120g Coated Paper is specified for the edible oil barrels field, which does not mean every substrate in it. Coated paper takes fine print and varnish well, and it takes up moisture at the cut edge. Where the surface is recycled or carries mould release, treat the first roll as a trial.
At what temperature do we apply AP2301 (120g Coated Paper, Hot Melt), and what can it take afterwards, and does that hold at our line temperature?
No application-temperature figure is released for this construction, and we will not invent one. Adhesive wet-out decides the low end, and that depends on your line speed and the temperature of the bottle. The declared test condition is 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH, and a trial roll shows where your own line sits.
Can you give tack and peel for AP2301 (120g Coated Paper, Hot Melt) in N rather than a vague high-tack claim, and what substrate was it measured on?
No tack or peel figure is released for this construction, so we will not quote one. We report tack to FINAT FTM 9 by the ball method and 90° peel to FTM 2, at 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH.
What is the smallest order you will accept for AP2301 (120g Coated Paper, Hot Melt) on 62g White Glassine, and can a trial roll count towards it?
Minimum order quantity is 500 ㎡ and lead time is 15 days after artwork and roll-format approval. A trial roll for press approval can be arranged before the production run starts. Shipment is ex-works Guangzhou, and it can be consolidated with other codes on the same order.
We used AR0011 before. What changes if we switch to AP2301 (120g Coated Paper), and which one should we trial first?
AP2301 runs Hot Melt adhesive on 62g White Glassine Liner, while AR0011 runs Removable on 62g White Glassine Liner. The difference is the adhesive chemistry, which decides edge lift and high-speed behaviour more than the face does. Compare the two technical tables above, then test both on the same substrate.
