Is 54μm Synthetic Paper the right face for general cartons and rigid containers, or do we need a film instead, and what would you send as a sample?

54μm Synthetic Paper is specified for the general standard field, which does not mean every substrate in it. Synthetic paper prints like coated paper and survives water and tearing like a film. Not recommended for irregular or squeezable bottles.

At what temperature do we apply F9701A (54μm Synthetic Paper, Standard), and what can it take afterwards, and what happens at the low end?

No application-temperature figure is released for this construction, and we will not invent one. Adhesive wet-out decides the low end, and that depends on your line speed and the temperature of the bottle. The declared test condition is 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH, and a trial roll shows where your own line sits.

Can you give tack and peel for F9701A (54μm Synthetic Paper, Standard) in N rather than a vague high-tack claim, and does the liner change the figure?

No tack or peel figure is released for this construction, so we will not quote one. We report tack to FINAT FTM 9 by the ball method and 90° peel to FTM 2, at 23±2 °C / 50±5 % RH.

What quantity does F9701A (54μm Synthetic Paper, Standard) start at on a Double-layer White Glassine liner, and does a trial roll count, and can it be pooled with other codes?

Minimum order quantity is 500 ㎡ and lead time is 15 days after artwork and roll-format approval. A trial roll for press approval can be arranged before the production run starts. Shipment is ex-works Guangzhou, and it can be consolidated with other codes on the same order.

We used F10050 before. What changes if we switch to F9701A (54μm Synthetic Paper), and is one a drop-in for the other?

F9701A runs Standard adhesive on Double-layer White Glassine Liner, while F10050 runs Low-odor / Residue-free on 36μm Clear PET Liner. The difference is the adhesive chemistry, which decides edge lift and high-speed behaviour more than the face does. Compare the two technical tables above, then test both on the same substrate.
